For the first event of the year I decided to A. keep it simple and B. provide something that newer players could enter.... Step up THE BATTLE BOX BRAWL!

1ST PRIZE - A battlebox of your choice!
Initially we had 10 players sign up, including a new player and a few players giving a different faction a shot, however Vini had to drop out at the last minute!

ROUND ONE
Round one saw some interesting draws, including new opponents and old rivalries!
First up we saw Claire Blewett vs Mike Oke, these guys have been playing each other a lot recently, in preparation for the Iron King, however Mike was taking Trollbloods for the first time so it led to an interesting match up, but the might of blight prevailed in the end!
Game two saw Darren's Cryx taking on Steve's brand new legion force! Steve had never used legion before the event, and although he played a very smart game Darren's experience won out in the end!
The next game saw Derek's Skorne take on Toms Merc's, this game ended up turning into a full on brawl and going to time, resulting in a double loss!
Richard was due to take on Vini, but as he couldn't make it Rich got the bye.
The final game of round one was Hannah Vs Andrew. Hannah decided to bring the Menoth out for a change, whilst this was to be Andrew's first game with his Cygnar battlebox! After a very close assassination attempt by Andrew turn two, Hannah managed to get Kreoss into combat with Stryker in Hannah's third turn, a win for Menoth!
Round two
Round two's first game saw Rich take on Darren - Cryx vs Cryx! This game seemed to be a dance of Arc nodes, with Rich grabbing the win with some epic dice rolls along the way!
The Next game saw Claire and Hannah fight it out, this game went right down to the wire, with Lylyth taking the victory from Kreoss at the end!
Next up Tom fought Steve in a brutal game that saw Lylyth meet her end on the end of a Drill!
Mike got the bye this round.
The last game of round two saw Andrew take on Derek, this game also went to time, meaning another double loss!
FINAL ROUND
The first game of the last round saw Claire take on her fiance Rich, this was obviously a very tense game, but after some clever moves the legion of everblight took another win!
The next game saw Hannah take on Mike, unfortunately for Mike, Hannah is a troll player and knew the Trollblood box inside out! She cast purification to remove surefoot, before popping the feat and winning the game.
Derek got the bye for the final round.
Next up we saw Darren take on Toms Merc's, the Merc's struggled to engage Cryxian forces and Darren took another victory!
The final game of the night saw Steve vs Andrew. The forces of Cygnar had a hard time evading the speedy legion before they rushed in for the kill!
