Shattered grounds: Sand Narrows @ MFM

16.09.2011 - 14.10.2011

 Pre - League event

The week before the League starts we will each choose a caster from our faction that we don't currently own and make a group order for them on that night, we then have from when they arrive until the last night to get them finished. We will then all get a vote in the Warcaster painting comp! You will also be using the new caster on the night in the multiplayer carnage!

Games and scoring

Everybody will get 2 games each night
Players will score 1 point for playing and 1 point for winning
Games can be up to 50 points (the lowest player on the ladder decides)
All games will be randomly drawn before each night, if possible players will play everyone at least once.
All games are to be played on the night they are drawn, at the Club.

League finale

After the epic scrap we had at the last final we will have another multiplayer event.

The coin

Any player can only win the coin once per year!

 Painting
Ive been busy again, finishing bits a pieces for several forces!

Hannah has also been busy painting.

NEWS
First up we have the new minion caster!

The monstrous creation called Sturm and Drang is proof of Dr. Arkadius’ mad genius. The key to this breakthrough was placing two strong wills in opposition. Psychic feedback crackles between their minds, driving them into a battle frenzy of... escalating power. Engineered to dominate and subjugate, the pair have perfect command over the war hogs of the farrow and can unleash magic of mind-rending power and explosive force.

The new Circle Battle engine has also been sighted.

 It looks AWESOME!

Last but most certainly not least we have a sneak peak at the new plastic dire troll kit!
Next time I will have information on Scrap heap III, Kernow Machine II and a VERY special Wrath event!
Cheers

My first game was against Richard and his Skorne, I was very lucky in this game as Rich was reluctant to come into Behemoths charge range which lead to me sitting back and dropping bombards on him until id won. (everyone loves broadside!)

Game two was against Jon and his Khador, I guess it was time to see who would win in a fight between Behemoth and Behemoth ;) My money is on Behemoth.... This game was a little different from the first - Jon moved at speed across the table preventing me dropping Bombard all game, I managed to get a charge off with my Big B into Jon's, Scrapping him in a single turn with Ivan taking down Vlad a few turns later.

Over the Lunch break we all had a chance to check out each others armies and select best painted (more on that later)

Onto the final round - Me vs My current gaming rival - Darren ;)

The first thing I noticed was pGoreshade which of course signaled the approach of a unit of Bane thralls, I decided to force him to fight on my terms, dropping into a corner and shelling him until he came in close enough for Behemoth to do his job - I very pleasant last game :)
