Hannah won the roll off and decided to go second.

Turn one

Matt

*The Wrastler runs up the field and riles for three.
* The Swamp gobbers advance up the center and pop up a 5" Cloud.
* Calaban makes a full advance, cast's Carnivore on the Wrastler and Occultation on himself.
* Pendrake runs up and hides behind the cloud.
* Snapjaw runs.
* Wrong eye walks up behind Snapjaw and discards one.

Hannah

* The Fennblades make a full advance.
* Jarl casts quicken on the Fennblades and Tactical supremacy on the skinner before advancing. (At this point I questioned why Hannah didn't do this before activating the fennblades, I was then informed that it would have left her in charge range of my crocs...leaving me feeling very foolish indeed!)
*Mauler riles for four and runs.
* The Skinner makes a full advance, then moves again afterwards due to Tactical supremacy.
Turn two

Matt

SPELLS UPKEPT
* Snapjaw walks into a swamp.
* Wrong eye hides behind Snapjaw.
* Gobbers advance and pop out another cloud.
* The Wrastler hides behind the cloud.
* Calaban hides behind the Wrastler.
* Pendrake hides behind the cloud.

Hannah

SPELLS UPKEPT
* The Skinner charges into Snapjaw causing 7 points of damage.
* The Fennblades call no quarter and fly across the table causing 7 more damage on Snapjaw.
* Jarl advance and fires a shot off at a gobber, needing a 12 and getting.....you guessed it! one dead gobber.
* The Mauler walks up and riles.
* Tactical Supremacy kicks in and the skinner pops out of combat.
Turn three

Matt

SPELLS UPKEPT
* Pendrake uses his Bolas on the Mauler, knocking him over.
* Wrastler charges in and after some truly dire dice rolls only caused 23 points of damage Sad
* Calaban is also cured by the dice and rolls a few double ones trying to cast bone shaker.
* The remaining gobber pops out a tiny cloud.
* Snapjaw walks into combat and eats two fennblades, healing himself a bit in the process.
* Wrong eye charges and eats the Skinner.

Hannah

Vengeance kicks in causing 5 points of damage on the wrastler.

SPELLS UPKEPT
* Jarl casts rage on the Mauler and then uses Black penny to shoot the Wrastler causing 8 points of damage, before healing the mauler one point.
* The Mauler gets up and tears the Wrastler into tiny little pieces.
* The Fennblades kill Pendrake and tickle Snapjaw.
Turn four

Matt

*Calaban walks up and pops his feat (Calaban gets a fury for enemies killed in his control area, and can immediately afterward cast a spell. What it amounts to, is that for every few models killed, he is going to cast a spell) He then goes onto cast boneshaker a few times getting the Fennblades to beat themselves up.
* The gobber pops out another mini cloud.
* Snapjaw kills a Fennblade, letting Calaban cast another boneshaker, Snapjaw kills two more and again another boneshaker from Calaban.
* Wrong eye kills another Fennblade.
( feat turn over and only one Fennblade left, it was looking good)

Hannah

The last Fennblade uses Vengeance to engage Calaban

* Jarl cuts his wrist for one fury, cast quicken on the Mauler, shoots the remaining Gobber and Calaban, killing the gobber and putting 8 points on my caster.
* Mauler Charges Calaban and Rips him up good!

Win for Hannah!

I really enjoyed using my Gator's for the first time, they are very different to my usual play style. I'm not overly fond of Jarl, he makes the already insane Fennblades disgusting!

Exppect a revenge report soon! (I might even take photo's this time)
Bloody Barnabas VS Hoarluk Doomshaper, Shaman of the Gnarls (15 points)

[09] >> Blackhide Wrastler
[03] >> Bull Snapper
[02] Croak Hunter
[01] Swamp Gobber Bellows Crew
[06] Gatorman Posse (2 grunts)

Trollbloods

[00] Hoarluk Doomshaper, Shaman of the Gnarls (0 / 7 WB)
[09] >> Dire Troll Mauler
[06] >> Troll Axer
[05] Trollkin Fennblades (5 grunts)
[02] >> Trollkin Fennblade Officer & Drummer
I won the roll off and decided to take the first turn.

Turn one

Matt

* The Croak hunter runs into the trees.
* Barnabas casts Iron flesh on the Gatorman posse (should have done that after I had run them!!!), he then puts out one swamp pit and pops spiny growth on himself, before making a full advance.
* The Wrastler runs into the swamp pit and riles for one.
* The Bull snapper advances and puts Spiney growth onto the Wrastler.
* The gobbers walk up and pop out a cloud in front of the posse.
* The posse use Dirge of mists and walk behind the cloud.

Hannah

* The Axer runs up the field and riles for one.
* The Mauler runs towards the croak hunter and riles for one.
* Hoarluk casts banishing ward on himself and fortune on the fennblades before advancing.
* The Fennblades run.
Turn two

Matt

Upkeep ironflesh

* The Croak hunter throws a poisoned spear at the mauler causing 6 points of damage.
* Barnabas casts swamp pit before popping spiny growth on himself and advancing.
* The Wrastler jumps in the swamp and riles for 3.
* The Snapper advances and puts spiny growth on the wrastler.
* Gobbers advance and drop a cloud.
* The posse advances and uses Dirge of mists again.

Hannah

Upkeep both spells, one of which is for free.

* Hoarluk advances and puts rush on both the Axer and Mauler before discarding one fury.
* The Axer charges the mauler and hits him three times, doing 10, 6 and 3.
* The Mauler walks into the croak hunter and rips him up! He is then goaded 2 inches out of the treeline to threaten my caster before riling for 2.
* The fennblades call no quarter and declare a mass charge, causing a small amount of damage on the wrastler and Snapper and killing a swamp gobber.
Turn three

Matt

Upkeep Ironflesh

* Barnabas uses two fury to heal the Wrastler and one to heal the snapper, he then charges the Axer and pops his feat. (Non-amphibious enemy models currently in Barnabas' control area are knocked down.) Hannah's whole army is knocked down Grin. He hits the axer five times causing only 16 points of damage.
* The Posse call cold blooded and charge the fennblades, killing three.
* The remaining gobber runs at Hoarluk to engage.
* The Wrastler hits the Axer and kills it, healing a bit in the process, he then eats a fennblade to heal a little bit more and riles for 3.
* The Bull snapper charges at the mauler hoping to tie him up for a bit, and manages to cause 12 points of damage in the process.

Hannah

Upkeep fortune for free

Mauler and Hoarluk shake knockdown.

* Hoarluk heals the mauler and walks out of combat, the free strike misses Sad. Hoarluk then casts rage on the Mauler and pops his feat. (Hoarluk's Feat is a truly dangerous one. When enemy warlock/warcaster models decide to cast spells within his control area, they take massive damage. The damage is rolled for after the amount is spent so you could make some models literally blow up with the amount of damage they could suffer. For example, if the Dark Prince Vladimir decides to cast Blood Of Kings within Hoarluk's Control Area he'd immediately take four dice worth of damage. This could immediately kill him! To a lesser extent, the feat also affects Warbeasts and Warjacks. The damage might be negligible at first but it adds up quickly.
Dhunia's Wrath is best used against Hordes or against warcasters with smaller control areas. Warcasters and warlocks who like to stay at the back of their armies often avoid the feat simply through being too far away. Against army lists with multiple warbeasts or warjacks however, the feat can do incredible amounts of damage and is best used when you expect to be on the receiving end of multiples heavies. The feat can be used offensively during your assassination run, as transferring damage involves spending Fury. Also take note of what other abilities involve spending Focus or Fury - such as pHaley's Vortex Spear or an enemy Krielstone Bearer activating Protective Aura - as these will also be effected by the feat.)

* The mauler tears the snapper to bits and gets goaded to move two inches into combat with Barnabas, fortunatly Hannah fluffs most of the rolls and only causes 5 damage. (should have died here)
* The fennblades stand up and do two points of damage to one of the posse.

Turn four

Matt

Upkeep Ironflesh and take 5 points because of the feat. Ouch!

* Gobber walks after Hoarluck but fails to hit him.
* Wrastler walks into the mauler, hits with the first two attacks causing 6 and 1, misses with the third, gets forced twice taking 6 damage but finally kills the mauler.
* Barnabas charges Hoarluk, only his reach weapon is in range! first hit does 7 points, I buy an attack and take 4 damage, knowing that its either do or die I try to boost damage, Hannah rolls for the feat damage and gets........a 6.

Game over and another win for Hannah!

That feat is nasty!

 NEWS

The widow of a proud Menite soldier, Nicia hopes only that by the time she meets her own inevitable, bloody death she will have killed enough unbelievers to join her husband at Menoth’s side. This peerless Daughter of the Flame strides through battle with lethal grace and speed, each movement gauged to bring her within striking distance. Even as she cuts through one foe, she fells another with cannon fire, wheeling her blade around for another kill. Few enemies have witnessed Nicia's murderous devotions and lived.

Mercenary warjacks are often drawn from discontinued chassis once produced by kingdom armies. The Mule, a former Cygnaran warjack, wields a massive battle mace and an innovative steam-powered cannon packing enough explosive punch to scatter enemies like leaves. The Nomad, once a Cygnaran mainstay, has been battering enemy ’jacks with its battle blade for 150 years. The Rover was built specifically for mercenary use, and its battleaxe and shield-mounted cannon have turned the tide of many a battle. Mercenaries maintain these battle-tested machines and find them fully capable of standing toe-to-toe against any fresh from the assembly line.

Grissel Bloodsong stands as a bastion amid the storm devastating the lives of her people. Assuming leadership was never her goal, but she has proven worthy of shouldering the burden of Marshal of the Kriels in Ironhide’s absence. She gladly fights alongside her warriors and asks nothing of them she would not risk herself. They trust her to save them whether by shrewd words or the booming of her explosive voice and hammer on the battlefield.

As consul Vayl has achieved a position of regal authority, answering only to Thagrosh and Everblight himself and empowered to explore her mystical arts. She picks and chooses which conflicts require her personal intervention by peering into the mists of the future with her divinatory powers. Vayl has begun to unravel the mysteries of the athanc, and it was by this study that she modified her oraculus to resemble that perfection and then split it into three. (She looks awesome, I cant wait to take her against eGrissel!!!)

OMG! I want it now!!!!!!!
The boneswarm is an undulating mass of osseous debris given horrid life and animation by lingering necromantic energies in places where many have died. Gatorman bokors have learned to control these horrors, directing them to envelop foes in a mass of biting, toothy skulls. The bones of its slain victims are incorporated into the boneswarm itself, allowing it to heal damage and grow stronger and more resilient.
That's all for now guys, expect a full report of our all night Wrath launch event soon!
