Rotterhorn at Mad for Miniatures.

We had some truly epic battles this season, after the dust had settled these were the final scores -

1. Matt - 15
2. Darren - 13
3. Rich - 13
4. Claire - 13
5. Hannah - 11
6. Jon PJ - 10
7. Lisa - 9
8. Steve - 4

Our final night was a little different as we had both a scenery competition and a multiplayer battle.

I didn't get a chance to get photo's of all the scenery, but I will for next week!

My outpost

Hannah's Trollblood snack cafe

Darren's excellent (and massive) inn complete with working lights!

Well done to Darren for winning the scenery competition  and thanks to everyone who took part!

The 5 way Carnage

As a few members couldn't make it to the last night we settled on a 5 way Battlebox carnage, the player with the most points on the hill by the end of turn 6 wins.

Players

Jon PJ - Khador
Me - Legion
Hannah - Trollbloods
Darren - Cryx
Steve - Skorne

The first turn had most models moving towards the centre, with my Legion heading for the nearest tree's!

Turn two saw the first caster death as Lylyth peppered Sorscha with arrows!

The next few turns were a bit of a blur, lots of fighting between Cryx and the combined forces of the Trollbloods and Skorne (and Lylyth shooting Denny in the face ;))

By turn six Hannah and Darren both had models on the hill......until Steve's turn, insert one Titan Gladiator with Cyclops support and Steve wins the game!

Congratulations Steve!

Once again thanks to everyone who took part and roll on the next one!

Painting

There has been a fair amount of painting done within Mid Cornwall gaming club and I'm going to show you all some pics over the coming weeks, to start with Ive got some of my own stuff as well as some more of Hannah's Trollbloods.

If any other members of Mid Cornwall gaming club/ Kernow-machine want to get there army on the blog let me know!

NEWS

Each Vessel of Judgment is a reliquary containing the sacred remains of one of the Menite priest kings of old and is capable of the most potent manifestations of Menoth’s power on Caen. The blazing fury of the Creator scourges infidels who venture too close, and the faithful who fall in battle around it can stave off death long enough to strike one last blow for their god.

Armed with devastating long-range rockets, the Redeemer was designed to deliver judgment from afar. The warjack’s deadly projectiles are launched into enemy ranks to explode in a cascade of deadly debris that leaves enemy infantry blasted, burned, and praying for the release of death.

A warrior-philosopher who seeks enlightenment through his own extreme suffering, Master Ascetic Naaresh has unlocked the powers of pain and forged them into a unique and devastating fighting style. Eager to challenge the limits of his philosophy against new foes, Naaresh has left his isolation to seek battle in the west. Before each engagement he submits to the ministrations of his paingivers so that he may draw strength and skill from the agony.

Lots of cool models to look at this week, I'm looking forward to seeing what the local Menoth players do with the Vessel of Judgement.

At the time of writing there are only two spaces left for Scrap heap I so if your free on the 30th July and want to play Warmachine get a move on!

That's all for now
Cheers
